Becoming a member of RC-Aviators is a simple process. You can contact us using the online form or call the listed contact. All persons accepted as a member into any AMA chartered club must first be a member of AMA. You can join AMA online or submit a hard copy application.
That does not mean you cannot contact us first and get to know about radio control aviation.
There are different levels of membership with AMA and RC-Aviators. Open class members with AMA and RC–Aviators is someone 19 years of age and over as of July 1st. Someone under the age of 19 as of July 1st is a Youth member and is not charged by the AMA or RC-Aviators for membership. AMA also has a Park Flyer membership program at a greatly reduced price. However, the model has to be under two pounds in weight and flown under 60mph. Most pilots find the under two pound weight restriction difficult to live with as they generally have to be flown in very light wind condition and the pilots strive for bigger better models. RC Aviators does not discriminate as it relates to race, color, creed, national origin, gender, age, or disability. We do ask that you read the rules and regulation and agree to abide by them along with our Constitution and Bylaws.
